Free and Premium features#

Saving, updating, viewing, resuming and deleting work contexts are free, even without a Code Weaver account. You can preserve open files, drafts and panel layouts. If restoring work requires a different branch or commit, that Git operation requires Premium. New AI assistant requests and use of other advanced tools require Premium.

Switch between fixes#

A saved work context is a snapshot of your work: open files and drafts, cursors, breakpoints, chat, SQL sheets, HTTP requests and panel layout. Give it a recognizable name, such as Checkout · VAT calculation.

  1. Select the project and folder, open the files for your fix and arrange the panels you will use.
  2. In the top bar, click Work; if a work context is already active, the button shows its name. You can also use Ctrl+Shift+P and search for Saved work contexts and Ariadne.
  3. Under Saved work contexts, enter a Work context name and click Save new context.
  4. Move to another task. Use Update current context to keep a more recent snapshot.
  5. Return to Saved work contexts and click Resume beside the saved name.
  6. Check the current context name, active file and chat draft before continuing.

Resume the work’s branch too#

A branch is a Git line of work. If the context records one, Switch branch and resume explicitly restores it. If the branch or commit needs to change, that Git operation requires Premium. Prepare disk changes with a commit or stash when requested, then resume. For a folder without Git, use Resume.

Delete removes the snapshot from the list. Project sources remain on your computer. Contexts started from an Ariadne item also keep their link to that item.
