Import and export data
CSV, JSON and Excel: mapping, types, previews and exporting all rows.
In this guide
Import with explicit mappingLoaded data or the complete resultIf the data does not matchImport with explicit mapping#
Import does not automatically create or alter tables. The panel handles up to 4 MB, 2,000 rows and 500 columns. Empty CSV fields are empty strings; use JSON or Excel when NULL must be distinct. Excel formulas are rejected, not executed.
- Open Import / export and select the file, format, delimiter or Excel sheet.
- Check headers, detected types and preview rows.
- Map columns to the destination table and generate the INSERT preview.
- Review SQL and row count before applying the transactional group.
Loaded data or the complete result#
The panel’s export covers currently loaded data. For a larger table or query, open Paged data and choose Export all rows as CSV or JSON. The job shows progress and cancellation; a partial file is not published as complete.
Full export reads successive pages. Concurrent changes or non-unique ordering can change the result between pages. Use an appropriate transaction or native database tools for a consistent snapshot.
If the data does not match#
First check the active connection, loaded filter and ordering. Verify CSV encoding and delimiter, XLSX sheet and mapping. A limited result does not mean the full table has only those rows. Binary values and LOBs may need explicit conversions.
