This guide covers tools included in Code Weaver Premium. Sign in to your account in the IDE and check that Premium is active. Without Premium you can still browse, search, edit and save your files.
Example: a discount that makes the total zero#
You asked for a discount calculation, but the diff treats a zero total as an error. Comment on that line to explain the case: the file and code reference travel with your feedback to the original conversation.
Add your first comment#
The comment field is brought into view and receives focus, so you can start typing immediately. Sent feedback remains readable in chat as a list of files, lines and instructions.
- In chat, choose Multi-file changes, describe the change and select Generate proposal.
- In Change review, click the line number you want to correct on the Original or Proposal side.
- In Line comment, write: “A zero total is valid with a 100% discount. Add a test for this case.” Choose Add comment.
- Add more comments if needed, then choose Send comments to agent.
Request and inspect the new diff#
You are applying the new diff you just inspected. The app checks file versions and retains a checkpoint. If you edited the originals in the meantime, use the current content as the review baseline.
- After sending, choose Generate new proposal from review.
- Wait for the Updated proposal after review and check the zero-total case.
- Check the files and hunks you want to keep, then choose Apply with the selected file count.
Result and next step#
The project contains your chosen correction and the chat retains the reason for it. Open Tests and run the 100% discount case. For another refinement, return to the proposal and comment on the relevant line.
